First big night out? Here are our top tips for making a night to (actually) remember

So you’ve just received you’re A-Level results and can’t wait to celebrate with the biggest night out in history – congrats, what an achievement!!

But, if this is your first proper night out, here are a few things to keep in mind, so that you can make a night to remember

  • Expect some messiness and some drama. Most people are still pretty inexperienced drinkers by the end of A-Levels and haven’t yet learned how much alcohol they can tolerate so prepare yourself for some drunken mishaps to occur.

  • Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!! This is one of our absolute top tips. Hydrate the day before and alternative alcoholic and soft drinks throughout the night.

  • Line your stomach. Making sure you have a hearty meal before heading out is so important for keeping your blood sugar stable and to avoid crashing (to the floor).

  • Make arrangements for getting home in advance. Make sure you know how and when you’re getting home.

  • Don’t put too much pressure on yourself and have fun. This probably won’t be the best night of your life – trust us, you have plenty more memories to make so don’t take it too seriously, celebrate your huge achievement and just have fun!
