Let’s be real, Leeds Fest is so Julia. We’ve been counting down since December, and it’s finally time to turn up! So read our guide for the festival of the summer with No Regrets!

Ready to level up your Leeds Fest experience? We’ve got some tips on how to make this year your ultimate brat summer. Whether you’re catching uncle Badg down at Chevron After Hours or Semtex down at LS23 it’s good to know your limits.

Did you know that there are certain limits for what you can and can’t take into Leeds Festival? Don’t be an idiot and know your limits.

• You can only take alcohol for personal consumption 18+ (only before 6pm on Sunday evening) into the campsite, so don’t even think about trying to sneak it into the arena, you will be wasting your own time and Definitely Maybe won’t be getting away with it.

• You also won’t be getting any cans into the arena so play by the rule book and you won’t miss the opening of Feeling This.

• Air Horns / Megaphones / Balloons / Chinese or Sky or Paper Lanterns – You won’t be bringing any of those in so make sure you have a better way to find your friends and avoid and Kyle (i found you) moments

• Bags larger than A4 size won’t be getting into the arena, so save yourself a walk from Red campsite and back

• Cameras, film or video equipment. Size does matter, lenses must be less than 6 inches. Professional cameras and video / audio equipment are strictly prohibited. Your phone is perfect for making a TikTok of your favourite acts but leave the professional photography to the professionals

• Cigarettes for personal use. Excessive amounts of cigarettes (ie. more than for personal consumption) will be confiscated, so if you’ve brought a stick back from Zante, leave them at home.

• Unauthorized merch for unauthorized trading – nobody wants your Leeds fest T shirt from Wish

• Aerosols over 250ml are a no-no, so unless you want the Summertime Sadness of having them confiscated – don’t bother

Don’t forget Leeds Fest operate a challenge 21 policy, so if you are lucky enough to have a baby face or you’ve just finished you’re A levels and you want to buy booze, you’ll need one of the following: A valid Passport (Not a photocopy), Full Driving Licence or Provisional Licence, A Proof of Age Card bearing a PASS hologram, A Ministry of Defence identity card or A National identity card issued by an EU member state has context menu
